Read the platform. The amount of times they mention God is startling. Politics should be secular. To look to a deity for guidance on political stances, as there platform advocates, is theocratic. Like I said the Dixiecrats liked the states rights clauses of the Constitution but anyone could see what they really liked. Beware those who would use the guise of freedom for all to free themselves and no one else.
