i think people misunderstand. its not a style. basically its a gung fu class teaching the concept of jeet kun do. thats the theory they use, while teaching kicking punching holds, and counter attacking.

As I said, JKD is a not a style, its a concept. U can apply the logic, mechanics of a style or of certain moves into the JKD concept. Thats what BL has done. his punches come from fencing position just as an example. Every style has its pros and cons. JKD is not a style. Its about using JKD to creat your own fighting style according to your preferences. JKD is a method of utilising mechanics of other styles, not copying. People misunderstand interpretation with imitation.
