This song has a great thread of truth woven in its fabric. It speaks in darker moments when one must face their fears of rejection and detachment. And it really is a song that helps people to say "goodbye" to someone that they have loved and admired. It spoke to me most after my roommate died last January. I would listen to it through my tears, over and over, but somehow it helped to cleanse my feelings.

If I EVER...meet Madonna...I would drop to one knee and thank her for this song. This song has been VERY helpful when I have ended a friendhip or romantic relationship. It emulates how hard it is to give up on relationships

I believe the Ray Of Light album was divinely & maturely created mainly because of her cherished pregnancy at that time. That is her classiest album.

power of goodbye and like a prayer are my favorite Madonna songs, i like Madonna the best with dark hair. The guy in this video is awesome cause he is Croation and plays Luka Kovich

Pretty. Very expensively engineered song. I'd like to hear this song covered by another singer. No disrespect to Madonna (she fine!), but more could be done with this song. I wonder which singer could make it sound really good? Whose voice is rich enough?
