No, that isn't what happens at all. Naruto never actually dies - one character just sees a vision of his death. They manage to avert that fate, however.

I think it ended where it was supposed to. we can assume that with all of those injuries (his vision was already blurry BEFORE the vicious fight) ,spike died and that faye ended up staying with...um...the other guy. And unless you want them to come up with some lame excuse for how he survived,I think the show should stay where it is (it isnt Cowboy Bebop without Ed or Spike).

In the fourth movie naruto does in fact die, however kakashi uses the same Jutsu Chiyo-Baa-sama Used on gaara after he was captured by akatsuki. So Naruto dies, but is brought back, and Kakashi Dies.

That's why they need to make more, in my opinion, he could have laid there and bled to death, or Faye could have came and got him (u know she wanted him baaaad). I guess that's the way they wanted it. But I still want more, the ending was great, it made me ball when I saw it for the first time, it was years ago but I will never forget it.
