I totally agree! The BBc and ITV in the UK should make these legendary broadcasts in the public domain and release them. Classic songs!

If only we could see James Jamerson, the genius bass player and THE most popular musician in recorded, back there with the fabulous Funk Brothers (the most popular group of musicians in history. How frustrating. They're hidden behind these wonderful singers and corny dancers. Thank God we get to hear him. And that's plenty.

I'm trying to get a shot at The Funk Brothers; THE most successful group of musicians in recorded history. It's so ironic that James Jamerson, THE most popular musician in history, the one who's making the music rock, is obscured, AGAIN. Where is the footage (outside of the What's Going On video)!? I do love the singers wholeheartedly, but they knew what made their songs outsell all others. Who's got the Funk Bro.s footage??? Share. Please?

Yes, this was her special, she was hosting it. She was good friends with Martha Reeves from when they performed at the Brooklyn Fox in NY. Dusty was a huge Motown fan.
