Manager #1 was BILL UTTLEY. He was the one suing them for millions. He owned a club and "got big" later on as they say by managing Steppenwolf and Three Dog Night. (actually the Turtles' first manager was LA deejay Reb Foster, but they're clearly referring to Uttley on Manager #1.)Manager #2 was DAVE KRAMBECK. He started out as their road manager and schemed them into making him their regular manager. He's the one who ran off to Mexico with Jim Pons' wife.
