I was seven years old when I saw this and I cried. I did not fully understand what had happened but; that did not matter. I knew that people had died. I'm 29 now. I watch this video and I think of how eloquent our President was. I won't forget that morning in Fairfield Elementary School, Virginia Beach Virginia. Now I'm a Marine and have been one for 10 years. This man, our President, inspired me. I'm a Dem too! Go Figure! Doesnt matter though... Were all Americans and THIS was awful.

I don't care your opinions of Reagan, he gave some amazing speeches and this one of the best.

Perhaps you should have experienced the Soviet Union before Reagan helped bring it down, or experienced Iraq under Saddam Hussein, or perhaps suffered an attack by al Qaeda. Perhaps you would wish to be a judge residing over a trial of Black Panthers, and have your House blown up by the Weather Underground and Bill Ayers. I think if you had your freedom oppressed by Stalin, Hussein or Fidel Castro (name any communist dictator), you'd speak differently, but I cant blame you, you never did.

Reagan was one of the greatest Presidents, and it took a long time for his opponents to finally appreciate him (I think this will be true of Bush as well). Agree with him or not, you knew where he stood, and in any instance of triumph or tragedy, his feelings were sincere.

McCain is like a fly that keeps buzzing in your face. You can't kill it and it won't quit pestering you. We knew all along he had no shot at the whitehouse. Yet he just had to get between the conservatives and get in on his military history (some republicans have blind patriotism). Now there he is; back in the senate, reaching out to the left again. (I know this is hateful, but) I wish he had stayed at Hanoi.

Well I am shocked you never paid attenion in your history class Hitler did not start out as aDictator he started out being a community organizer and as for narrow mindedness that is what a liberal represents to most God fearing patriotic Americans. You any understanding of the situation concerning national security. Electing hussien to become president is like promoting a janitor to become the CEO of a major corporation.

gfreak09You don't realize how you just made my day. The last thing I read was your posting regarding Reagan, the greatest President in my lifetime. God knows we need Reagan today.
