I suppose that reads hard, you're right, but I was talking in context. A lot of people HATED "In the Summertime". Looking back, as you say, it was ok. Farlowe did play at this gig in fact, in the marquee with the rain pouring down outside.

No no no, Zepplica911 - if you know him in Saudi Arabia he is certainly not forgotten!

That's a bit harsh on Mungo Jerry. My mate's cousin (Dixon?) used to play in that band. They were ... refreshing. Was Chris Farlowe in Atomic Rooster at that time? I saw him in a solo gig at Dagenham Roundhouse - not one of his better nights as I recall. Chris - do you still have that rather fetching suede jacket with the fringes? Went down a treat.

Oh yeah. Most bassists would've died for one. (Mind you, big Ampeg stacks were also popular....

I saw this line-up in a kind of marquee in Nottingham just before this gig. Super gig!!!Other bands that day - Atomic Rooster and (yuk - pile of shit) Mungo Jerry.

A legend called Rory Gallagher is forgotten .... (Shame shame on the western musical society) . I know this is one of the best artists in Rock 'N' Roll history and I'm from Saudi Arabia !!!!!!!!!
