BTW, Transformers was a piece of garbage compared to the original anime. It wasn't even about the "Transformer" is was about Sam and his hot girl and some action scenes. Get the original anime on dvd and see how it fails to compare. Now GITS are you kidding me Hollywood has to make up for it's lack of creativity so now they turn to anime. They will kill this just like they have killed everything else. GITS in not the right movie for 3D. Now something like Macross Frontier would rock in 3D.

Forgive me for inturupting, but I DO hope that you are aware that Japan isn't all anime-land with girls in small skirts. Sure, I ADORE anime, but Japan is actually not that great of a place. They still don't acknowlage the horrible things their people have done to 'confort' women from the wars, and every year they all hunt dolphins in a most violent and crude way. They take advantage of the fact that Dolphins wont leave a member of thier pack by hurting one and then cetching all the others.

This is true- but 'Burg himself said that he enjoyed the storyline of GITS, and because of that is why I think he's going to stick to it. GITS is a popular anime, and even though I am a tad worried about it, I think he could pull off a good movie for its fans and the newbies. And though Racer failed, I'm sure the director was very proud of that -doesn't remember who it was- Annnnd hopefully they'll understand that GITS is what the matrix is based off of, and if not I'll have to kill them.

true, i know sometimes things work out like that, but look like they said speed racer failed. I know that's because the speed racer film style was so loyal to the source material, it failed to please american audiences. Mainstream is the only way to please american audiences. = FAIL to my classic animes. I liked speed racer and for retards who call GITS a matrix rip-off need to know it's the other way around.

I donno. I think that 'Berg might actually do a good job. i AM worried about DBZ, though. But look how well Transformers came out. Just, cling to that and hope. Hope really damn hard. I'm really worried for Akira, though, because if thet ruin that classic there's going to be a fuckin RIOT. Same with ghost in the shell- but I'm not as worried about that. What i AM worried aobut with GITS is that people will start calling it a matrix ripoff. ;o; Hope, my friend. Just hope.
