And today, the Dutch government has finally decided to switch voting to paper and pencil; furthermore, voting machines aren't replaced either.

the ballot has to be kept secure and safe from tampering, dishonest elections lead to serious problems

everything that does anything with electrons emits an electromagnetic signal, aka radio signal. look up Van Eck phreaking, you can reconstruct whats on someones screen by the radiation it emits. so this is something like that.

those guys also managed to hack one of those voting computers and turned it into a chess computer :)they were also able to change the votes...

com'on if guys like u & me can do this...in the 1st place why does this f machine emits a radio signal ?is it intended ?So this must be a real built in feature ... but built what for ? Say maybe so that candidates could know in "real/time" the voting just staying in a "cia" van, then activate another extra secret feature that make a fake vote... a van per big city voting locations , cheap expense for almost total control over democracy...

So when can they force it the other way? When will they be able to _change_ the votes? |
