I think there are a number of people who would disagree on Zappa'a talent being "wasted." Being that you're just some dude on youtube, I don't think you make the final decision on the value of the work of a talented and prolific musician and composer.

If you do not see the musically value of this, quite frankly you do not deserve to call yourself a musician, even if it doesn't appeal to you, as a composer Frank Zappa was a genius in the truest sense of the word. If it's not your thing ok, but don't criticize the work of someone who kicks more ass than you ever will

I guess so. I certainly like some prog. But I think the melody/sound of Zappa's synths are just awful. Different strokes, I guess. It's just a shame to see talent wasted, which provoked my first comment
