I do think it should apply to all people in order to have a just society. It won't defend the islamic people because it will apply to them same as to others.

If the law would be for all people the same, it would be great, but Shara law will only defend Islamic people, if you rape 'walking tent' you will be killed, if Islamic men rapes a girl, by Shara law he will be innocent just because the girl shows more than her eyes.ONE COUNTRY MUST HAVE OE LAWS SYSTEM FOR ALL THE PEOPLE!!!Anyway Islam is most sick and wrong modern times religion, it's reminds me of medieval(dark ages) Christianity, Islam is sick and barbaric, afraid of woman religion

If someone rapes your sister and mother by the sharia law that criminal gets the death penalty. I think that law would be great in US since rapes occurs every second in this nation.This comment was about 25 seconds long so that's 25 rapes that occured just right now.YOU IMPLANT THE SHARIA LAW YOU GET RESULTS AND RAPE WILL DROP TREMENDOUSLY.

Wow, it's difficult to believe that British courts would recognise anything but their own laws.. this is just plain messed up.. every citizen would have equal rights and if they want to observe Sharia law that's their deal but if a Muslim wants to forget Sharia law and is a law abiding Brit. then the British courts should protect their individuals liberty at all cost.. a debate like this would not exist in the U.S. not that we don't have our own problems defending liberty but at least not this.

countless scientific advancements while europe was in the ark ages and science was almost forbidden by the church which cost us centuries of developement.
