so the teens have to do it thru what they wear, and their perceived attitudes. The bus evokes memories of work and school, and the people sitting in isolation makes you remember the times you didn't have anyone to sit next to; it creates a bleak feeling, and adds to the subtle warmth and comfort the video adds. in fact, that's what most of the video is about- being alone.

For example, kids growing up thinking of a car would first see it as something they would never use, then something they wanted, then something they had and loved it, and then finally, just another tool in everyday life. the apartment stands for where they live, and isolation; it's black and white because nobody wants to live in an apartment, really. the goth girl stands for teens' fashion sense and attempting to "rebel" or make a statement to the world; something they dont know how to do yet

This video uses clever images to evoke an emotional response from the audience and make them feel as if it reminded them of their teen years, although it doesn't have a real point or story to it. It uses these images to play on teen's assumptions and fears and remembrances from their world, such as the car, the apartments, the stairwell, the goth girl, and the bank teller. They all stand for different things and aspects of life, and things that teen's viewpoints of changed wen they got older.

I really like this song, and I deffinately like Slow songs, however, at the "Grew up way too fast..." part, it becomes very apparent to me that if you sped this song up a little (or even alot) and of course matched the noise level [don't anyone acusse me of being a screamo freak or a metalhead, 'cuz I'm not... my favorite band is friggen Journey]it would be an amazing song. Think of Fast "Name" in like GH or RB- that'd be awesome

reminds me of 95' when I would go outside to play on my elementary school playground in the mornings and of this beautiful woman I love named Jenny.
