im a bank teller with ms and i afford my own private healthcare and get my medicines for free that cost $2000 a month medicine companies want to help you not healthcare companies because i had to go them directly for healthcare and they gave it to me for free....but i still think private healthcare is the way to go government healthcare as a whole is a failure and is useless spending... i dont owe you anything so why would i pay to help you its not my burden to help you out because you dont help

dcw815 there are no figures to base that claim id like to see it if you think you have one....and if we do get it, wont it be like canada and britain as i said its a failure...do you know what a lottery is? thats how they decide who gets the benifits for the whatever it is you need.....healthcare is not a right....you arent promised that from birth its on your ass to get it not mine to pay for yours cause idc about the people that get it because i can afford my own healthcare and im not "rich"

The US system is rated the lowest among developed nations but it cost twice as much as the next most expensive system. That sounds like a waste of money to me. Paying out of your pocket for the service plus the cost of profits, only after getting approved sounds better than automatic approval? You don't know what you are talking about.

what was supposed to go inbetween my 2 comments was im sick of this to be honest this generation in the last 30yrs or so is spend now get wat you want when you want it. its sad its like a 5yr old that doesnt get his toy when he wants it. government healthcare is like giving money to a homeless person when they do nothing in the first place for the money they beg for they could better themselves but handouts r easier and its sickening at age 17 i could get a job that rivals so many of the.....

adult salarys im joining the marines getting good pay and after my 20 years ill either stay in or get my retirement and go to work on jets privatley because thats my M.O.S. in the military ill be making atleast 65k+ a yr starting...thats why im sick of this nation the welfare system- gives money to pople that dont need and the ones who need dont get itsocail scurity-needs to be privatized its not the govts job to look after you in that wayless govt the better this burns me up all of it

did you just compare our healthcare system to canadas? rated probably the owrst out there even worse than great britain....how come if government healthcare is so great across the globe then why do the poeple that can afford it pay either out of pocket or go through private insurance and get their operations done in america? becuase its not that great its why government healthcare is the owrst idea of how to waste more money in an already failing economy

so this dude is basically sayin... the government can't afford universal healthcare because people are living too long??? the fuck? keeping people alive is the whole point.if they spent more money on schools and healthcare instead of war and prison, we wouldn't be as bad off as we are.

It doesn't matter who pays for health care, it's a matter of who provides it. If you want to pay Motel 6 rates, you expect to stay at the Motel 6 and not the Hilton right? Doesn't matter who pays for it-private insurance company, the government, the patient (fee for service), or Aunt Sally- doesn't matter. Garbage in, garbage out. Health care delivery is private and the cost of providing it is expensive. Hence the price for good health care is expensive.

The amount of extra tax you pay for universal health care is far, far, far less than what you pay to have private health care. Why? Because the government isn't trying to make a profit like the insurance companies are. I am a Canadian that lived in the US for 10 years. I have first hand experience as to how archaic the US system is compared to ours. |
