Card counting increases your chance by a lot more than that. I'd say that with the most common card counting method, you'd get your chances up to at least 70%.

I've played blackjack for a long time and I know card counting techniques etc... But even with card counting your winning chances are like 52%, so it is not much of an edge in the short run. I'm also an amateur magician so I know how this type of tricks work. Here is what actually happens:1) He uses simple hi-lo counting technique(anyone can do it).

2) He explains his technique as if he memorizes every single card, so he seems very intelligent and talented3) They arrange multiple casinos to film this, let's say 8 casinos. Mathematically he is quite likely to have a winning streak of 3 or more wins in at least 1 of those casinos.4) They dont show the casinos where he lost, so you think this technique works always.

The memory skill he uses in the house is a legitimate, usefull & highly advanced technique.However, although he is very intelligent & highly skilled this is not required to count cards at Blackjack.I doubt he has ever paid any actors to fake these scenarios, otherwise he would just be an illusionist or a magician, which he is not.He only pays people by way of remuneration for money they lose in his scenarios. Watch & learn some more & try to show just a little due respect.He's the man!
