yeah it probably does speed the game up and makes for better viewing but i mean i prefer this scoring system when im playing...

It goes to long. With the new System, badminton comes more in TV, it is better to watch.

Actually the fastest smash was 332 km/h (206 mph), and yes, you need very good reflexes and amazing reaction time to return them.

Actually the record is Fu Haifeng with 332 km/h (2005) which is just ridiculous. In term heart bpm badminton players go a lot higher than tennis players, constant changes in direction, no rest. Tennis players have more upper body strength and running speed, badminton players more wrist strength and aerobics (jumps, changes in direction etc...).

what noobs, badminton kills tennis any day. The fastest smash in the game was 309km/h, I wonder how fast is tennis? Mostly all the professional's smashes are around 200km/h ish. Basically you're reflexes have to be really fast to catch them. So badminton isn't as easy as you think it is. |
