No one is copying anything. And Chris Brown can't slide like that. Everyone knows that it did originate with Cab Calloway and even before him, the black performers in Vaudeville and Minstrelsy, but forreal let people do them and stop trying to knock them just because they keep a dancing trend alive. I applaud those who keep certain arts alive.
