If anybody ever listen to them live, their band is really off the hook. Back then they didn't have all this studio technology that they have now. It's really safe to say that kool and the gang along with many other groups were true pioneers that set the paths for many people today. People really do need to understand the true essence of music instead of abusing, like so many people are doing today.
