jamesinho.I totally understood your comment so that's why I wrote mine, not as a reply to you, but to everyone in general. Yes, someone did react wrongly to your comment so I thought I'd add my thoughts to clear thing up for others who might not be able to track back to all the original comments to find who wrote what. However I did read yours and I didn't come to the same conclusion as that person and I don't think you were trying to insinuate anything either.

As far as I know, Madness was a part of the late 70's British ska revival that emphasized racial unity. They, along with Specials, Selector and others had or collaborated extensively with black musicians. Their message was of course the very opposite of the traditional racist skinheads movement.

don't know what im on about? the band hav openly acknowleged their racist skinhead fan base, ( chas smash has been in fights with them @ gigs, suggs came on stage and gave out when they sang racist chants before madness came on stage ) so its you who doesnt know wat ur on about.
