b16 dont suck!!! you fail to realize that your dealing with a 1.6 liter engine that has 160hp, their is no other car accept for hondas that have the hp/displacement that the b16 have not even the v10 dodge viper has a ratio that can match it. but dont down play a motor cause the one that you had was mild at best, i guess you have the same thoughs for the b16b's too

if your doing the b16/b18 vtec PLEASE!!!! do some work to the bottom end like rods, rod bolts, and just for safety get si bearings, i had ls/vtec, my frend had ls/vtec and people we know had the same problems...the bottom end cant support the new redline. do that and trust me the motor you build will make you smile from ear to ear. good luck with your build!

wth are you talkin about? the SIR II has like 170hp, and like CRAP for torque. and a s80 GSR tranny? why? why not just get a JDM ITR tranny with the 4.7 FD?b16's suck. yes my car had one in it, but i will NEVER EVER claim that it was fast.and BTW. 14 second 1/4 miles ARENT FAST! which is all the sir II engine will do.
