I do not think this is hardware overclocking but only software overclocking.Try to overclock your computer hardware and compare it to software overclocking.By the way, if that thing is actually tweaking the hardware, then that's some seriously bad architecture. Because it's affecting the software part.

yes it would you idiot, these games don't have FPS caps they use a multiplier based on the CPU speed! SO WHEN THE CPU SLOWS DOWN SO DOES THE MUSIC

ever played someone in mario kart online that just seemed to go faster than u by like 10-20% ??? they use overclocked DS's that means their games run faster - ie driver faster compared to u - u cant catch them

Wrong, The DS works just be one frequency that tells it the speed it had to go at, if the frequency is bigger than the performance is increased.
