really? It looks like a mature male Theraphosa blondi to me... I would say the real indicators would be the MM hooks on the two front legs, it's color, size and the orientation of its chelicerae. Huntsman spiders are from the family Sparassidae (suborder Araneomorphae) and this spider appears to have all the defining characteristics of a member of the Theraphosidae family (suborder Mygalomorphae)... but I could be wrong. |
