looks like my dreams have come true- Otis Driftwood fronting a metal band. Seriously, brutal riffs,good growls, and not a single attempt at the overly used "melodic" bridge or chorus make this really stand out to me. So many bands now try to ape that "At the Gates"/ melo-death sound, that it has reached the point of total saturation, comparable to what happened with grunge. most of these new bands are to old school metal as, say, Nickelback is to Alice in Chains- fourth generation bullshit.

That's some good ass shit - there was a time when every song this band wrote sounded like slayer
