"African community" ... give me a break. These yahoos have never set foot in Africa. They are Americans.I get the fact that they feel isolated in the US and taken advantage of, so calling themselves "African" gives them a sense of identity. But it also further isolates them! They talk with this ghetto slang, dress with shaggy clothes, have an angered disposition ... and disparage other blacks that choose not to "ethnicize" themselves.Obama can champion the notion of countering all this!

That wont happen until they are all treated the same way so until the treatment is the same for all communities then u will have the feeling of individual ones

Apparently you've never done any public speaking yourself. Go out and try it some time, and have a Q&A session too. Then when someone asks a question where you are expected to recall events that happened previously and you have to make yourself accountable as to what happened, let's see how fast you can respond without "stutters and stammbers" as you so eloquently put it. Yeah, we all sound great when we read off prepared note cards, but it's a lot harder to speak off the cuff than you think.

the obama movement is a world movement. its awakening the usually apathetic masses. we have been waiting for a "yes we can" leader of the world. Many leaders in other nations will concern- they will have a new phenomenon to consider, the active "yes we can domestic public". Bush set the world up for such a movement. Even Obama is only now coming to grips with what this all means. Obama 08
