I think Hershiser is 'closer' than Fernando to be elected.Both are 'close' but sorry to disagree but neither is getting in any time. I am fully aware that Oral in 1988 breaking the scoreless innings record had one of the best single years by a pitcher in last 25-30 years. However 1 great season does not put you in.People like Jack Morris, David Cone, John Smoltz, w/ longer carrers will get in first.Bert Bevelyn and Ron Giudry should get in before the 2 very good Dodger pitchers.
