they are in jail, i think they're in the philli's or thailand. cant remember, but this is like a rehab program that's optional for inmates instead of other crappy things they may have to do. keeps em out of trouble and helps them work together like a society or something. really cool idea if you ask me. america should do something similar, to bad people would probly just use the opportunity to just shank someone though.

To floranteflorante. You have a very intelligent response to PraiseDivineMercy's posting about those indigenious traditions and rituals vis a vis the Fil-Ams. You're cool man!
floranteflorante (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
(1st page) The commenter must be either a joker or uninformed person. On the contrary, the Phils is one of only 2 majority Roman Catholic countries in Asia (the other being East Timor). The indigenous traditions & rituals may not find their way to Fil-Am families, unless they belong to the indigenous groups, like the Sibuyan Mangyan Tagabukid (Mt. Guiting-Guiting, Sibuyan Island, Romblon);
floranteflorante (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
(2nd page) Ifugao (Benguet); Calamian Tagabanwa (Coron Island, Palawan); Tadyawan Mangyan (Mt. Iglit-Baco, Oriental Mindoro); Agta Tabangnon, Agta Cimarron (Mt. Isarog, Camarines Sur); among other groups. But then, even if the Fil-Am belongs to one of the indigenous people, most likely, such Fil-Am will adopt and practice the American way of life. The same Fil-Am will eventually lose his/her indigenous identity, traditions, and practices. |
