You've got great taste and you're in good company too. I already liked Rob Zombie's music and movies but found a whole new level of respect for the man when he put that Buck Owens clip in "Devil's Rejects". My love for good music transcends the labels that people want to stick on it. Any Telecaster player who doesn't know who Don Rich was is really deprived of an education, in my opinion. He had the most killer tone and the most tasteful licks there was.

Don Rich was a great guitar player. A lot of stuff Junior Brown does is right out of the Rich/Owens book. Buck and Don are both missed. I love my heavy metal, but I can respect true talent and they had it.

The opening theme is called "Buckaroo". It's and instrumental that served as the band's opening song for years.

The answer to a year old question. There was no sound system in the studio. They all just played straight through amps and adjusted to the drums. DangerousDonRich said in a previous comment that Don was just "Showin' off the sparkle." I would agree with that, Don just being silly and showoff-ish.

The guitars are tuned down half a step, allowing Buck to play an A chord shape, but it be a Ab. The studio version was done in G, with Don tuned down a full step (D to D).
