What a beautiful horse and program. Loooove the extended trot and the little butt jump he does sometimes when he changes leads. Great great vid, thanks for sharing!

Hey folks, It's a lot more efficient to look at how he moves from back to front (magnificent) than to look at his head carriage. Also informative to look at how much freedom the stallion has in his jowls. With less freeedom here it can easily seem as though he's overflexed.

I don't think he overdid it, stallions uually have a much more rounded neck then most other breeds, ontop of the head carriage being a lot higher, so this isn't bad at all, this is just how he carries himself. I think he did awesome and is a very gorgeous horse.

you cant really tell how much rein contact he has but Friesians have such a heavy crested neck, it sometimes appears overflexed. He doesnt seem to be behind the vertical...what a stunner though. hope my boy gets to this level

I agree with a lot of the people on here, the rider is really over-flexing his horse. I understand that that's often how dressage horses are ridden in that part of the world, but it's really not necessary, especially with a horse as easy-going and hard working as the Friesian!

My god, that extended trot at the end... *drool*
