I think that's mostly because they're so much better live when compared to the Kill Em All versions. Personal opinion though.

lol no not at all brah, load and reload are hard rock, songs like ronnie could even be called a little blues. death magnetic has a lot of thrashy stuff, but it's not really a thrash record, YES it has speed but does it sound like reign in blood? NO...the tallica boys have even said that load and reload are not supposed to be full on metal, and that DM is a mox of everything.
