That never stops VenomFangX from responding (usually in a video) and PROVING every time that he is a moron.

Whether they can breed together AND the offspring is not sterile (think "mule") AND the offspring is as fitted to the environment. Lion/tiger crosses are possible (in captivity) but the offspring is puny. Sheep/goat crosses are possible but not as well-adapted to their environment.

But some people are too unfit to walk a mile. However, they can walk a yard, take a rest, walk another yard, take another rest...That's the sort of argument that appeals to rationalists. It will NOT work with talebangelicals. Their faith has as a key tenet that man was created separately from the animals and that is why man alone has a soul and is the favourite of God. They believe that only God can create a new species.

Excellent work. What's especially cool about this (apart from the soundtrack) is your readiness to say "we don't know". That's the beauty of science, we don't have the bullshit know-all, absolutist certainty of creationists (which always trips them up). Everything is up for verification and practically, we must be able to have a solid shot at falsifying any researcher's data, hypothesis, etc..

What you say is true. Great Dane + Mexican Hairless = WOW!!!! What a champ!!! But eventualy besides being physicaly next to imposible, geneticly as well.

Actually the way I understand it the only distinction between species is whether or not they can breed together. Therefore, it is quite possible to have dogs that are different species from each other. I'm no biologist, though, so I'll leave finding samples to somebody more familiar with the subject :)

Yeah, that is a great analogy. What makes sense to a rational person might not square with an irational person who believes in an all powerful space daddy who will, when they die, party with thier ghost forever. Especialy concerning this subject.

Hm, that's a good point you made. Good analogy to describe it as well.

im aware of their acceptance of micro-evo but not macro-evo. basically it doesn't make sense. like saying i believe i can walk a yard, but i don't believe i can walk a mile.Seeing as they're both the same thing, the other is just a larger multitude of the other. |
