This version is fantastic with Dash on the mandolin and a more prominent singing role than the radio version. Reminds me of my childhood years. I listen to this song ... and many others when I need to reflect and drift away. ... Which seems to be a lot lately.

Uhhh .... I would say around 2 nickle bags, a couple of rolled tye sticks and some freshly made hash brownies. man, you should seen what they were trippin' on while writing the song "hummingbird". Regardless, Seals and Crofts were and still are great entertainers!

great songbut every time i see seals and crofti remember a joke a comedian did ,i cant remember who the comedian wasbut the joke was he was drunk and introducedseals and croft as arts and craft and was immediately fired

They did. They've played concerts together at least as recently as the '90s. No albums though, pity! I remember the first time this came out, I was 12 or so and heard it on the radio and it caught my attention. Most songs I wouldn't even notice until I'd heard them a few times so that they sounded familiar, but this one was so different that it struck me right away.
