One of my favorites of his. It's that perfect song to listen to as winter approaches. Winter is such an odd season in that if you're lonely, it's like you're extra lonely because you have no one to hold, to be with. But when you're with someone, it's extra great.

LOL, yeah and Daughters is condescending, stop this train, mawkish and bigger than my body egotistical. All good songs though ;) weird that!

He isn't implying that he wants to break up, he's just saying if his relationship ever goes wrong but they still gave all the love they could, it wouldn't feel as bad if it was after St. Patrick's Day."If our always is all that we gave, and we someday take that away, I'll be alright if it was just until St. Patrick's Day.

I think michael chaves is the best guitarist he's had. He could play everything, like here he's playing the keys. He could also do vocals.

One of those classic John Mayer songs. It's funny how he can make the song sound so endearing when in fact all he's saying is that: "I don't want to break up with my girlfriend during the holiday season because then I'll have no one to celebrate the holidays with. I'll wait it out until St. Patrick's Day."Not a holiday song. But still a Mayer classic. |
