Nobody beats a prime hagler, hagler was as complete a fighter as i have ever seen in his prime and could do it all supremely well, box, bang, counter punch, body attack, superb inside fighter, deadly accurate jab form the southpaw or orthodox stance, and the list goes on.

Nobody beats him not jones who's chin was shaky all along and who was flawed technically and who had trouble with southpaws, not robinson who lost to lesser fighters in lamotta, basillio, and fullmer, a prime hagler would have ko'd leonard in 7-8 rds, noooooooby beats a prime hagler a prime period.

Boxing is the Sweet Science my friend, just like The Greastest (!!!ALI!!!) said(!!!FOR DAYS!!!) it was. Sometimes the fight begins outside the ring.

KnowImillian (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
He said how well he put force into his punches, unlike others he sparred with. I'll ask him your question concerning south or orthodox, but he mentioned Sugar Ray also, but Ray never phased him he said.

Boxing is boxing.... and the true sport is all about points and the better boxer can and will obtain more points. Leonard won and that is how it will be. |
