i was playing in the same pub as vin last night at an open acoustic event and although i never had the bottle to speak to him i must say he seems like a down to earth,true northen bloke.i could of sat and listened to him tell jokes all night to be honest :p

One of my all time favorite folk singers to see live, I last saw him perform back in the 70's at the Old Dominion folk festival in Virginia, USA. This may have been on his last US tour. I also had the great honor of having him as a dinner guest at that time. The main course? Why it was "scallops au VIN", what else.
