Coming from the prospective of a former cutter. Turns out I have Emotional Intensity Disorder. That's why I hate the label emo. Someone here said that you can be labeled emo even if you get too happy. I get too everything, then I swing back into numbness. I've worked really hard to get where I am and I'm not ashamed of my scars - I have far more inside that won't heal as well as my skin. Trust me, cutting isn't necessarily what people think it is. If you cut, you may have a serious illness.

yeah, I must say though, the scars do draw attention. The scars on the inside are of a number far greater on the inside than they are on the outside. It's kinda like wearing your emotions on your sleeve. You know?
