For all of you about this song and wretchedness, I am Tsalagi (Cherokee) this song does not translate to Amazing Grace in English.

might be a stupid question- but do they have books out that for "teach yourself Cherokee"?I have checked at libraries/bookstores, and its always: Teach your self : German,Spanish,French,Italian....occasioanly Russian

I'm not a wretch. That's why I can't sing that song. I'm not despicable. So sing for yourself. Slave trader wrote it and sung it appropriately.

Those are beautiful pictures and I like that song in Cherokee. It makes me sad that our ancestors didn't respect the people who were here in America first. I still hope for fairness and equality and for people to learn how to live on the land in a sustainable way like the Cherokee did. |
