Nah ...Dave Chapelle first appeared on Apallo Theatre way back when he was young and stuck with comedy and did Def Comedy Jam like in 1992 or so.... and maybe the big breakout was the Half Baked movie... besides that he sure likes the best hiphop and promotes it...De La.

Saw them at Hard Rock last year and they did this jam.You could see who the real hip hop heads where. Eyes closed big ol smile on they face hands in the air and heads just noddin to the beat :)
