If Bach was alive and was not aware of modern technology he could never have expected his brilliant cello suite to have excelled Casals version .Dont knock it just sit back and believe !!!!!

The volume is fine. Im not saying he plays it like that. im just saying that the quality of the recording makes it sound as if its a crap cello. Although I'm sure it was probably a strad or something. Just listen to newer recordings. There's such a difference.

The recording makes his cello sound rubbish. You know, like when you go into a school and have to borrow one of your school's cellos. And it ends up being too small and sounding like shite.
