did you not see in one of his interveiws he was asked what dose some of your songs mean and he said that he dosnt realy tend for it to mean anything he want the people that listen to it try to make up their own meaning

I think its bullshit when people say that his lyrics are left COMPLETELY open to an individuals personal interpretation. He most likely has some message in mind or else he wouldn't be writing the music. I would think that he's creating it in order to make people think more and to figure out for yourself what he is saying. Even if the point of his music is to in itself make you think more or push your thoughts into new points of perspective, there is still some direction of persuasion intended.

But the corruption of our human society as a whole, and world wide. Everyone needs to just stop and listen. Your all arguing with each other constantly over what his lyrics mean. Serj isnt about putting one certain message into our heads, and for those of you who agree with me, its true that he {and SOAD} leave their music to be interpreted by others how they wish. I believe that he makes this music because there is one common message to be heard in all of it. And its that we must see the sadness in this world and the corruption in not only the government,
