portoxali is right.....what is more a true pianist can do all the things u mentioned by either looking or not looking at the piano. Plus, looking at the keys or not is each pianist choice, some pianists can only feel all those things u said JUST by looking at their MOVEMENTS

clarify please which words in my comment were out of context. And I was reffering to the idea that "A good pianist should be able to play without looking AT ALL " . Think it is clear from this comment that this guy considers Kempf and other giant musicians lacking this skill, which is an essential precondition for any "good" pianist.
