he might be not as good as elliot smith as most of you say but his songs are good and from the heart and to be fair due to his early passing he did not reach his full potential.His songs play a big part in my life and i owe him alot for this. His an extremly good artist and knows his shit so respect to him!!

I agree ... Jeff does have a far superior voice to elliott smith.. but i like elliot's songs more ... i just find them easier to digest ... For example, i like almost every single song that elliot has ever written ... i just finished listening to Grace by Jeff and it's a bit "patchy" ... not all the songs stick with you. just my personal taste i guess.

Bono with the band called U2, were Punk in the begin. You should know what is the emo culture,that is NOTHING ,just a mix of everything for a comercial end.The cure ( Robert smith) are punk tooI am a very emotional person ,but i dont have the long hair on my eyes ,and i dont want to die ,etc etc.. salutes.

I know Elliott Smith very well, I really enjoyed Roman Candle, XO and his self-titled album. However I love Buckley like no other musician, I have some sort of connection with him and his music. On a less creepy sounding note, Jeff Buckley has a much better (or maybe just different) voice.

what are kids doing these days? they dont recognise 90s rock at all its either brutal metal or fashion based emo crap. best vocalist in the last 30 years. many musicians who die young are hyped up Buckley was the real thing.

he did this song live at the troc in philly and it sounded just like the cd,unbelievable.
