I take it the sarcasim was lost to you then..Noel's actually a very funny smart man but he never gets enough credit for it because people don't understand he takes the piss the whole time & people just think hes being serious. If you keep this in mind or actually watch the interviews where he says these things you will see that hes actually just having a laugh

i love oasis and have always loved their music. but you have to admit noel is a nob. i read in a magazine one of his quotes.'' the credit crunch is effecting so many people, but not wealthy people like me, oh no,no credit crunch for me'. i mean, cumon what selfish cunt says all that. but also when oasis first started out, they claimed they WILL be better than the beatles. BULLSHIT.

I cannot accept any notion of genius freom someone who doesn't know how to spell the word. No singer songwriter is a genius. If we continuously debase words in this way, then what word would we use to describe Shakespeare, Newton or Mozart? He isn't the best lyricist ever, and yes I've heard that song countless times
