I defy anyone to post a video or quote comment from a Republican which in any way defames U.S. troops during this or any war.We don't do that. Why can't Democrats say that? Why do Dems always bad mouth our troops during war time?I am waiting for your posts.

Murtha at least has served his country honorably in the military unlike the draft evaders we have as pres and VP now who want to show they are men by sending our troops into harm's way because they didnt have the balls to serve their country themselves..Murtha has always been right about the war even though his latest comment was silly...we are creating a Shiite pro-Iranian govt in Iraq! thanks to US blood and money! that is the bottom line on this silly war

Murtha...an embarrassment for Pennsylvania.A disgrace to his country.Shame on you,Jack.

He won't. Becuase he and Pelosi hate our own military so much that they will do anything to destroy them. I have no idea why, I cannot make sense of madness. I can't fathom the mindset of these bitter, hateful communist liberals. All I know is communism was born of hatred, bitterness, and misinformation. I guess that's why liberals flock to it.

Pelosi, I am a veteran, and as a veteran and an American, I hold you and others like Murhta for the complete degredation of my confidence in Congress. You get a 0% from me for many of your antics, but mostly for the carefree way you all are willing to throw our soldiers under the bus for some political points. You can grandstand and blame the conservatives all you want, but you all are the ones running congress into the ground. Your little puppet Obama will not win.

It's thanks to the Marines and the surge tactics in ramahdi (pre-surge test case) that him and obambi were able to walk around that town without body armor on separate trips, owes them a thank you for that as well

VP candidate Joe Biden also owes the Marines and apology, along with Murtha. It's a small wodner he's been going around, debasing himself over being picked

He was in Korea and Vietnam but thats not itthe Democrats (pelosi) offered him power and authority to be their frontman for the anti-war pressure because of his serviceand for that power, he turned his back on his brothers in the Corps, all 190,000 of them for selfish gains, he's a politician to the bone, any honor he had he sold for influence, he's a disgrace
Floridanon407 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I dont hate the american gov't, its a great system we haveits the people working in it's name and manipulating elements of the govt for their own partisan gains no matter the cost to ANYONE but their partyso i hate the armchair critics and desk jockies who want to run a war (into the ground in some cases) with no perspective and solely for selfish electoral gainsdont worry, theyll get whats coming to them soon, 9% approval rating of congress doesnt bode well
Floridanon407 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
If they were Marines doing all that he'd be the one leading the lynching partybut maybe, just maybe, the men and women serving our country are people of Honor and commitment to the honor of the Corps and our country, and wouldnt be caught dead doing anything like thatbut i guess America and her Marines are just too bloodthirsty and a bunch of bullies so we can trust them or give them the presumption of innocence until proven guilty
