Conducted by Arthur O Pearce and released by His Master's Voice. The Black Dyke Mills Band are one of the few acts on these 78s who are still going (Presumably with a different line up though !) Colonel Bogey March became better known after being used as the theme to the film Bridge over the River Kwai.

This 78 record is probably played to fast, like most old brass band records on youtube. Many of these European records should actually play at 76 or lower, otherwise the tempo and pitch get too high. (The present tempo is clearly too high for a classic British march).

This lyrics is not original. The march was written in 1914, the lyrics was written for the "Bridge over the river Kwai" film, many decades later.

The lyrics are as follows:Hitler, has only got one ball.Göring has two but very small,Himmler is somewhat similar,But poor old Goebbels has no balls at all.
