This scene really was the pinnacle of the series, capturing its violence, beauty, horror, and psychological themes simultaneously.It is both a pleasure and painful to watch.

That scene...from 4:02 to 4:10...is one of the visually stunning and disturbing scenes I've ever seen in anime.But then, that's how I feel about the entirety of the End of Evangelion. Amazing, but frightening.
