Who the hell are you to speak? You can't criticize her talent in that manner unless you have a greater talent or you *are* the composer. You don't know what the hell the composer wanted - so stop acting like you can speak for him. This was a beautiful rendition.

I don't understand what you're saying....she didn't make a single mistake. I agree the editing of the video is horrendous. Too jumpy and distracting. If you listen to her with your eyes closed that might make all the difference in the world.

A lack of maturity is exactly what Ms. Gheorghiu is showing in the aforementioned clip. I do enjoy this song, she just has no business singing it. See my little review above.

I can't stand her voice, thus not everyone is fooled. However to consider the caterwauling she's doing "singing" is an exercise in terrible taste and the furthest thing from art possible. My advice to Ms. Gheorghiu would be to cease singing immediately, take a year off, retrain her voice and come back. Furthermore, if she's going to sing Casta Diva, she should respect the values of the notes and the wishes of the composer. The singer serves the music, NOT the other way around.

naaaa Angela es buena pero Montserrat Caballe lo hace simplemente espectacular,no hay mejor Nroma que la Caballe ni si quiera esta soprano que tiene mucho vibrato,esta desente la version pero a mi opinion Caballe la supera por mucho incluso a la Callas!!

To bad... Your bundle of interests and intellectual maturity hindered your enjoyment for this performance... I have my own criticsm but to criticize her to that extent is, to me, imature. What happened to the enjoyment of music?

Perhaps you could give her benefit of your advice. I'm sure she will be most grateful. Perhaps the £millions she has earned by her voice was gotten under false pretences and she has duped everybody?
