when u hit about 7-8 thou rpm does the bike really jump up like that?

i didnt write clearly about the large wheels on your car. what meant is your speedo will say your going say 60mph when you will really be going around 65. these is just an example. the actual difference depends on what size wheels were on the car originally, and what size you replaced them with. So you see, there are many mechanical factors involved in measuring your actual speed. i do, however, agree with you mcgoo721.

We cant necessarily go by the gauge. Im not familiar with bike gauges but I do know a wrong sized adapter (one meant for a different application) could throw the speedometer completely off. Did you know if you put larger wheels on your car youll go faster than your speedo says?

so it may look slower than it is

i dont ride bikes but it is on a camera

could just be it looks slow because of how fast he was going. ive noticed on my car/snowmobile after going way faster than 100mph 100mph doesn't seem like it was. not saying you're right or wrong, but if in fact he did go as fast as his gauge reads, 100mph would look like 60 haha.

Those gauges are no longer available.
