you are 100 % right...even a japanese 600 cc ( like the ZX6 R, R6...from the new age)...would have destroyed that mazda. The 748 is old and heavy, and not to powerful.And they should have race from a standing start...not a roll on...overall nice movie

Maybe if the rider really went for it, it would have been closer. He didn't even put his head behind the fairing. Plus everyone knows the Ducati is a V-twin which is down on power compared to a inline 4 bike like a Gixer 750. Ducatis are better in corners than straights. If there was a test more along the lines of a tuned and blown Gixer 750 it would wipe the floor with the RX7
