totally true. in the early ufc fights kung fu got it's ass welled on. with that said, that wasnt cause the style was inefficient, it was simply because those were horrificily bad kung fu fighters who didn't belong in a cage or ring.

I agree with neobod, in the street the situation is different and this is the real sense of martial arts, "skill of the war"... Win very quicly with a maximum of efficience, and better without going on the ground cause of possibilit of many opponents! By the way you MUST know grappling but folks, we don't like "rounds" in martial arts... Power, assault wiht "pressure" and more over speed!!! Try to not fall, if you go to the ground, use grappling from BJJ, Pancrace, Japan JJ, Sanda, Sambo!!!

Really, I ask: Who can make proof of his domination in martial arts? The problem is definitevely not styles but humans.. It is not your skills in BJJ, JKD, Krav Maga, taekwondo, Muay Thai etc... It is your mind, and if somebody has enough time to spend loosing his training time... What a pity! By the way, I practice JKD, and honestly I'm interessed by all martial skills. BUT i desagree: Despite his efficience cause of "rules" a real fight is totaly different than MMA, Pride, UFC or other...

Basedeal with his BJJ Wine....LAme. Bjj is a good tool but need to be adapted to make sense and be effective in the street. Anyway you will never face multiple opponent on the ground. This is where JKD or Krav Maga are the most efficient. NOw also note that those 2 style took a lot of from BJJ to perfect their ground game and arm lock technics. So who is the best? Well "Everyone!!!!"

how little you know i trained with this guys hes more than you could ever imagine, this was over about 10yrs ago nothing like what heS like now , obsolete ,welling MMA IS DEFENETLY A STEP BACK INTERMS OF FIGHTING ON THE STREET

this guy has been watching to many bruce lee movies, kung fu and traditional martial arts were all dispelled and proved obsolete when brazilian jiu jitsu dominated them all in the early ufc no holds barred events when it was style vs style
