This was Mariah at her commercial and vocal peak in 1994/95 on her first proper tour in Madison Square Garden. She sings like a well oiled machine, every note pitch perfect, like a race horse or dressage act mastering every hurdle at ease. What a phenomenal performance! Nobody will ever match that GOLDEN standard, nobody, not even Leona Lewis I am afraid to say (and I do like her a lot as well) Mariah sounds like smooth toffee, honey-roasted-almond-milk. Yummy

What? Mariah has never tried to commit suicide. That's sth that she emphatically denied in every interview. She says that she has too much faith in God to do sth like that.Her father was dying of cancer, her sis is HIV positive, her brother used to be in drugs, her best friend commited suicide and other was back-stabbing her for money, etc. She made it through only because of "The Grace of God" she says. Listen to My Saving Grace by her, then you'll understand.

She's seriously amazing here. Check out: 'Hero-Mariah Carey-Live in Spain' back in 1994, she's just as good, if not better! What's happened to her voice recently is quite simply a tragedy!
